Xerion Advanced Battery Corp. Appoints Jim Thompson as CFO

Jim Thompson has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Xerion Advanced Battery Corp, a privately held manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries. Thompson, who holds an MBA in corporate finance from the University of Michigan, has joined Xerion at a critical juncture in the company's commercialization strategy for its innovative lithium-ion battery architecture and manufacturing process. Xerion's innovative battery technology guarantees a lithium-ion battery that is significantly less expensive, has a higher energy density, increased power, faster charging, a longer lifespan, enhanced safety, and 40% fewer carbon emissions than traditional battery manufacturing methods.

The company's cutting-edge manufacturing infrastructure is founded on two patented core technologies: StructurePore, a novel battery electrode architecture, and DirectPlate, an innovative refining and deposition technique. The combination of these technologies enables Xerion to more efficiently produce high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Founded in 2010, Xerion has dedicated over a decade to developing its breakthrough lithium-ion battery technology. With Thompson's expertise in corporate finance, the company is well-positioned to accelerate its ambitious plans to revolutionize the energy industry through disruptive technological advancements. Thompson’s role will be critical in driving Xerion's strategic financial initiatives as it moves towards broader commercialization.
