American International Group (AIG) announced the appointment of Keith Walsh as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 21, 2024. Walsh will lead AIG’s global Finance organization, reporting directly to AIG Chairman and CEO, Peter Zaffino. With more than 25 years of finance experience, Walsh brings deep expertise in financial services, particularly in the insurance sector. He joins AIG from Marsh McLennan, where he served as CFO of Marsh, and previously spent 14 years as an Equity Research Analyst at Citi. Walsh succeeds Sabra Purtill, who will stay on as an advisor to ensure a smooth transition.
