Yahes' arrival follows the recent hiring of Steve Collins, former CTO of King and Co-Founder of Havok, as Unity’s new Chief Technology Officer. These strategic appointments reflect Unity’s commitment to operational excellence and product innovation under the leadership of CEO Matt Bromberg. The company provides tools that support developers across the entire lifecycle of game development, marketing, and monetization, catering to platforms such as mobile, PC, console, and extended reality (XR).
Yahes brings extensive financial and operational expertise, having served as CFO at Shutterstock since 2019, where he played a key role in driving portfolio expansion and revenue growth. His prior roles include CFO at Zeta Global and Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, as well as senior positions at ExlService Holdings and Citi’s Global Technology Investment Banking group. An alumnus of Cornell University and the University of California, Berkeley, Yahes expressed enthusiasm for Unity’s mission, emphasizing its unique position within the gaming and interactive technology ecosystem. His appointment is expected to bolster Unity's pursuit of greater operational discipline and enhanced customer engagement.
