David Kennerley to Succeed Todd Foley as Chief Financial Officer

Kroger has appointed David Kennerley as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 3, 2025. He will succeed Todd Foley, who has served as interim CFO and will continue as a Senior Vice President. Kennerley, currently senior Vice President and CFO of PepsiCo Europe, will join Kroger on March 10 to ensure a smooth leadership transition. Chairman and CEO Rodney McMullen emphasized the company's commitment to strategic succession planning, "Consistent with Kroger's history of thoughtful succession planning, David and Todd will transition seamlessly to ensure Kroger continues to deliver on its go-to-market strategy, providing access to fresh, affordable food for families across America and, by doing so, creating long-term shareholder value."

Kennerley began his career at PepsiCo in 2001 as a Manager in the International Corporate Finance/Treasury Department, overseeing treasury operations across Western Europe. In 2005, he transitioned to the U.K. division as a Business Development Director before taking on various roles in Planning and Commercial Finance. By 2011, he had stepped into the role of Senior Finance Director for the newly formed Global Beverages Group, later shifting to the North American Beverages division in 2012. Over the years, he held multiple positions within Commercial Finance, eventually advancing to SVP Finance for North American Bottling. In March 2020, he was appointed CFO for PepsiCo’s European operations. His extensive experience in finance and strategic planning positions him well to drive the company’s long-term growth.
