Ann Dennison Joins The Cigna Group as Executive Vice President and CFO

The Cigna Group, a global health company, has appointed Ann Dennison as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She will oversee all enterprise financial operations and report directly to Chairman and CEO David Cordani. Dennison brings extensive financial leadership experience; before joining The Cigna Group, she served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Nasdaq, where she led corporate finance, treasury, planning and analysis, investor relations, ESG reporting, procurement, and real estate. Before that, she was Nasdaq’s Senior Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer. Earlier in her career, she was Managing Director and Head of Financial Reporting at Goldman Sachs.

Cordani highlighted Dennison’s expertise in financial strategy and operations, emphasizing that her leadership will support the company’s long-term growth. Her strong background in financial planning and corporate governance positions her to drive financial performance and value creation. Before assuming the CFO role, Dennison served as Deputy CFO at The Cigna Group, playing a key role in strategic financial initiatives. Her leadership will focus on enhancing financial operations, enhancing investor confidence, and ensuring disciplined capital management. With Dennison at the helm of financial operations, the company aims to reinforce its position in the global healthcare market while continuing to serve its customers effectively.
