Boston Scientific, a medical technology company, has announced that Dan Brennan, its Executive Vice President and CFO, will retire after nearly 30 years with the company. Brennan will step down from his role at the end of June 2025 but will continue as a Senior Advisor until October 2025. His tenure has been instrumental in driving Boston Scientific’s financial success and shaping its corporate culture."Dan is an exceptional leader, financial steward, and teammate. Jon Monson, currently Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, will succeed Brennan as CFO on June 30, 2025. Monson has been with Boston Scientific for over 25 years, holding various finance roles, including Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He has shown strong leadership during challenging times, especially through the financial turbulence of the 2020 pandemic. As CFO, Monson will manage several crucial functions, including global finance, treasury, corporate tax, and investor relations. Furthermore, he will focus on talent development across the company’s global finance organization. Mahoney highlighted Monson's strategic mindset and performance-driven approach, emphasizing that his broad financial expertise will be invaluable as he leads Boston Scientific into its next phase of growth. Monson's leadership promises to build on Brennan's legacy and guide the company toward continued success.
