Warner Bros. Discovery Appoints Brad Singer as CFO of Post-Separation Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. Discovery has appointed Brad Singer as Chief Financial Officer of Warner Bros., effective upon the company’s planned separation. Reporting directly to David Zaslav, President and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery and future President and CEO of Warner Bros., Singer will oversee the company’s financial operations, including planning, accounting, internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement, and investor relations. 

Zaslav highlighted that Singer had been key to value creation and growth at Discovery Communications and praised his financial expertise and strategic insight. Zaslav stated, “His proven track record combined with his sharp understanding of emerging technologies and evolving consumer trends will make him a tremendous addition to the new Warner Bros. leadership team.”

Singer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. He brings extensive financial and operational experience from leadership roles across investment management, media, and telecommunications. He most recently served as Partner and Chief Operating Officer of ValueAct Capital and has held board positions at Rolls-Royce Holdings, Motorola Solutions, Warby Parker, and Sweetgreen. 

Previously, he was CFO of Discovery Communications, where he led its 2008 public offering, and CFO & Treasurer of American Tower Corporation, where he guided acquisitions, capital planning, and international growth. The appointment of Singer is expected to strengthen Warner Bros.’ financial strategy and position the company for a smooth transition and sustainable growth post-separation.
