YETI Appoints Scott Bomar to Lead Finance Function

YETI Holdings has appointed Scott Bomar as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. Bomar succeeds Mike McMullen, who will step down from the role but remain in an advisory capacity until May 31, 2026, to support the transition. Bomar joins YETI after nearly two decades at The Home Depot, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance and oversaw areas such as financial planning, treasury, and acquisition integration. Announcing the appointment, CEO Matt Reintjes said, “Scott brings to YETI more than 20 years of financial and operational leadership across consumer-focused retail environments.”

Bomar previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Deluxe Corporation and has also held roles at Deloitte and SEI Investments. Reintjes added that Bomar’s experience in cost management and operational efficiency will support the company’s long-term growth plans. Commenting on his appointment, Bomar said, “It is an honor to join YETI, a brand I have long admired for its leadership in the outdoor products space.” McMullen, who spent a decade with the company and helped guide its public listing in 2018, said, “It has been a privilege to lead our exceptional finance function and be a part of the YETI team.”
