Corpay Names Peter Walker as Chief Financial Officer

Corpay, a business payments company, has announced the appointment of Peter Walker as Chief Financial Officer. Walker brings extensive experience in both public and private companies, having served most recently as CFO at Instructure Holdings. There, he oversaw the company’s privatization and sale to KKR. His previous leadership roles include CFO positions at Sterling Check Corp and Jackson Hewitt, as well as a 17-year tenure at Assurant, where he concluded his time as Global Chief Strategy Officer. Peter began his career at Ernst & Young and is a certified public accountant. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Corpay Chairman and CEO Ron Clarke welcomed the appointment, stating, “We are excited to welcome Peter to Corpay. We believe Peter’s mix of public and entrepreneurial company CFO experience will help him to contribute immediately. Peter’s got great potential and will be a terrific partner in helping us to run the business.” With Peter assuming the role, interim CFO Alissa Vickery will return to her full-time position as Chief Accounting Officer. Clarke added, “We’re grateful for Alissa’s assistance in leading our finance organization over the past several months, she did a great job supporting the team through the CFO transition.”
