Haleon plc, a leading corporation in its sector, has unveiled Dawn Allen as its incoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective October 28, 2024. Allen, currently serving as the CFO at Tate & Lyle plc, brings with her a wealth of experience garnered over a distinguished 25-year career, notably with Mars Inc., where she held the position of global CFO and VP global transformation.
The appointment of Allen follows Tobias Hestler's decision to step down from his role as CFO at Haleon plc. Hestler's departure, set for November 1, 2024, comes as he seeks to better manage the demands of his position alongside the management of a long-term health condition. However, he remains committed to facilitating a seamless transition, continuing within the business until the end of 2024.
Brian McNamara, CEO of Haleon, expressed his satisfaction with Allen's appointment, highlighting “We are delighted to have appointed Dawn as our next CFO. She has a proven track record as a CFO with extensive consumer and international experience and will be a great addition to our executive team.” McNamara also took the opportunity to commend Hestler for his pivotal role in shaping Haleon's trajectory, underscoring his contributions in establishing the company as an independent entity poised for long-term success.
