Nordstrom has appointed Kelly Dilts as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective August 29, 2025. Dilts brings over 30 years of experience in financial leadership, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and CFO at Dollar General since 2023. In her new role, Dilts will lead Nordstrom’s core financial operations and oversee real estate, store development, and strategic sourcing. Her background also includes leadership roles at Francesca's Holding Corporation and Tailored Brands. Erik Nordstrom, Co-CEO of Nordstrom, stated, “After a thorough search, we're excited to welcome Kelly to the Nordstrom team. She brings three decades of financial leadership experience and a proven track record of driving strong results at large-scale omnichannel retailers.”
Commenting on her appointment, Dilts said, “I'm honored to join Nordstrom at such a pivotal moment in the company's evolution. Nordstrom is a company with a strong legacy, a clear sense of purpose, and a deep commitment to its customers, employees, and brand partners.” As Nordstrom focuses on operational discipline and long-term growth, her experience is expected to add value in a market that increasingly uses artificial intelligence for financial services.
