Paysafe Limited, a global payments platform, has disclosed that its finance department is experiencing a leadership transition. Alex Gersh will transition from his position as Chief Financial Officer to an advisory role to the Chief Executive Officer. He will continue to serve in this role for the organization until the conclusion of the year. John Crawford, Gersh's successor, will undertake the CFO position immediately and will be stationed at Paysafe's North American headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
CEO Bruce Lowthers emphasized that this transition comes as Paysafe embarks on a new phase of growth. “Looking to the future, Paysafe is entering a different chapter of growth where we will focus on scaling the business and ensuring that we can capitalize on opportunities that lie ahead,” Lowthers stated. Gersh will work closely with Crawford during the transition period to guarantee leadership continuity. Paysafe is renowned for its extensive experience in the global entertainment sector, where it serves both consumers and merchants. The organization provides an array of payment solutions, such as digital wallets, online currency options, and payment processing. The leadership transition is a strategic move to align the company with future opportunities as Paysafe concentrates on expanding and scaling its business.
