Ryder Names Cristina Gallo-Aquino as Executive Vice President and CFO

Ryder System, Inc. has announced the appointment of Cristina Gallo-Aquino as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2025. Gallo-Aquino, who has been with Ryder since 2004, brings a wealth of financial and accounting experience to the role. Previously serving as Ryder’s senior vice president, controller, and principal accounting officer, she has proven her expertise in overseeing the company's financial management functions. In her new role, Gallo-Aquino will be responsible for Ryder’s finance and accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and investor relations departments, ensuring continued financial stability and growth for the company.

Gallo-Aquino’s appointment follows the promotion of John J. Diez to the position of president and chief operating officer (COO), also effective January 1, 2025. With over 22 years of service at Ryder, Diez has held several senior roles, including CFO, and will now focus on managing Ryder’s global business operations across its supply chain, transportation, and fleet management segments. Ryder’s leadership transition reflects the company's commitment to talent development and internal promotion, ensuring continuity and strengthening its operational and financial leadership for long-term success.
