WNS (Holdings) Limited, a prominent provider of global digital-led Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, has announced the appointment of Arijit Sen as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective July 25, 2024. Sen, who currently serves as the company's Corporate Financial Controller, will succeed Sanjay Puria, who has opted to step down for personal reasons.
Puria, the outgoing CFO, will continue to support WNS in an advisory capacity until April 24, 2025, ensuring a smooth transition. Keshav R. Murugesh, Group CEO of WNS, expressed gratitude to Puria for his dedicated leadership over 14 years, underscoring his pivotal role in driving financial rigor and operational excellence within the organization.
Sen's appointment as CFO marks a significant milestone for WNS, given his extensive tenure within the company spanning 15 years. Sen has held various key positions within WNS's finance team, managing critical functions such as Treasury, FP&A, M&A, Tax, and Controllership. His deep understanding of WNS's operations and the BPM industry positions him as an ideal candidate to lead the company's financial strategy into the future.
Prior to joining WNS, Sen gained valuable experience at Accenture, where he served as a management consultant specializing in corporate strategy and business transformation. His academic background includes an MBA from The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a bachelor's degree from St. Stephen's College in New Delhi.
